Covid-19 Policy

Covid-19 Policy and Booking Information

Last Updated: 28th May 2020

I'm pleased to announce that we will be able to start offering 1:2 courses again from Monday 1st of June, following the announcement of a further relaxation of the lockdown rules this evening.

Of course, we will need to adapt and cannot simply return to 'normal'. Social distancing guidelines will still need to be adhered to, and we will adapt our normal teaching methods to allow for this. Additionally, it's important that we respect the impact that we have on rural communities more than ever, and ensure we help maintain and build those good relationships for the future, whilst demonstrating a sensible and cautious return to outdoor activities.

We're also very aware of how important it is to reduce the impact on certain honeypot areas, where communities have already expressed concern around increased numbers of visitors, and the importance of keeping travel to a minimum. With this in mind, any courses and venues will need to be reviewed on a case by case basis before a booking can be made.

As a way of respecting those communities, I believe it's vitally important to make good choices about venue selection as well as safe decisions at the crag and a course is one of the ways you could ensure this.

My courses are available here. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

Flexible Booking Policy:

- Any courses for the remainder of 2020 are booked on a flexible basis. This means that any booking can be rearranged (subject to availability) at any time, should government advice change or if a participant becomes unwell. No additional costs will be incurred.

- The required deposit amount has been lowered, and only 25% of the total booking cost is now required to confirm a booking.

- Full payment is only required until 7 days before a course starts.

Full terms and conditions will be sent out as normal upon booking. If you require any further clarification, please feel free to get in touch

During this difficult time for the outdoor industry, you can support us by booking a future course, sharing an online course, or purchasing one of our gift vouchers, which can be redeemed at a later date.
